it's just like a dream - there's no end and no beginning.

I feel ornery because my life is oneiric.

You say why?
I say I don't know.
Oh noooooo.
...that actually had nothing to do with the ornery thing. I'm just discovering a newfound love for the Beatles and Madonna thanks to Glee.

So the second term of year eleven has started.
Seeing as most people who read this blog ( does anyone? ) should know that, I'm going to make this entry extravagantly self-centred and insipid and vapidly trite.
Ew. That sounds like a prime chance to wallow in narcissism.
..YESSSSS, I love narcissism!

[ Disclaimer : This entry will be rather aimless and will contain no point at all, thus is you fall asleep reading it and asphyxiate on...the gas concoction of which we inhale or something, the warning was given (: ]

Hence, the topic which I feel like I'm socially obliged to blog about - the supposedly main source of education in many people's lives! Supposedly. Okay that felt politically incorrect.

It's been alright.
Aside from random attacks of guilt at the lack of effort I'm putting in, it's all been going swimmingly.
..keep in mind I'm moderately crappy at swimming (:
Bright side is that SO FAR the workload has been relatively relaxed.
However, I distinctly remember nonstop-complaining last term so may have just blocked out the bad memories.

Um. A short summary of my subjects so far because I'm out of ideas on what to blog on and because imagination is a scarce resource these days. Oh and typing about school might motivate me to start on work. And my views of the subjects might help some poor person in a lower year to decide on what subjects they would want to do. Those reasons felt shifty.

AdEng - Bleh. Not too bad. But not extremely fun. Downside of it is that I haven't started on either the short story or the related texts essay, so those are probably affecting my view on it.
ExtEng - I've got a feeling my views on this subject will depend on how I go in the essay thus ;D
ModHist - Ditto on the view above. But it's been fun.
Legal - Meh. Not very exciting, but the teacher is nice.
Italian - ..is fun!
Eco - ..used to be relaxing before it got all subject-matter-heavy. Now it's like legal, except still more easygoing because there are no enactments of whatever to remember. I should stop badmouthing Legal because we haven't actually had to do much yet, and because the last legal lesson mostly comprised of wrapping books and watching the Bunny Boiler. Which is about some scantily-clad random paid to flirt with a guy. In front of his girlfriend. To provoke a reaction from aforementioned girlfriend. Which was ironic considering this was during legal which is heavy on the ethics, morals and values side of life.
AdMath - ..is...just...ew...but the teacher is awesome.

..OKAY TOO MUCH SCHOOL. Reminder for the next blog entry if it ever happens ; DO NOT BLOG ABOUT SCHOOOOOLLLLL.

But next week should be <3 because Monday = ice-skating, Tuesday = Italian excursion where we get gelato. And make pizzas. And have an italian lunch. Envious yet? ;D
and Wednesday where we get...some driving excursion.

The prospect of so many fun things happening next week is making me feel guilty. I think I'll go think of ideas for Stocks now.

RANDOM FACT because I feel like this entry should at least contain something slightly educational slash substantial and because I'm a pedantic jealousy-envy terms thing;

THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JEALOUSY AND ENVY.
..thus they're not synonymous.
Even if they're normally used as such in popular culture etc.

Envy is the desire for some random thing the person believes that he/she/it does not have and believes that someone else has.

e.g. envious over someone's uh...money?

Jealousy is the fear of losing something which is felt as rightfully belonging to the person:

e.g. jealous over...uh...the affections of someone?

The cool thing is that you can be both jealous and envious at the same time.
Wheeee, overlapping emotion cocktails.

P.S. Those were my understanding of the differences which I learned off either wikipedia/sparknotes/some self-help book. Thus my normally quite-shoddy memory might have warped the definitions a bit. So if you want to be really sure...go research it (:

P.P.S. Did you know that ego literally means I in latin? I actually didn't know that until not too long ago. So upsetting. But now I feel like changing my name from the ego into the eye due to it's beautiful lameness.
